Those who know me know I don't just regurgitate the hype in real time. When a new feature, function, or tool arrives in the AI space, I want to dig in and experience the improvement over days in my job as a technology and litigation attorney. Well, I'm here to tell you. I've been using ChatGPT-4o over the past couple of weeks, including the desktop app for my Mac computer with an M4 chip. All I can say is, wow. My capabilities as an attorney with the previous tools varied between a 2 and 10x enhancement and amplification in my abilities as a lawyer, delivering better quality at a lower cost for my clients. With ChatGPT-4o, this overall amplification has improved to a whole new level. Because I'm a Mac user, I get the benefit of the desktop app, which means I have OpenAI's Whisper technology available on my computer without going to the playground. I am dictating directly into the ChatGPT app, conversing without navigating between the OpenAI playground and my ChatGPT browser tab.
